How do I get a refund from TAP Portugal?

TAP Air Portugal is the flag carrier of Portugal based and also its hub in Lisbon Airport. You may cancel your flight immediately if you wish to cancel, and you will also get a refund for the cancellation of the flight, but only when you cancel your flight on TAP Airline within less than 24 hours after the flight has been booked. To give you an idea of TAP Air Portugal's cancellation program, we have made some relevant points concerning the cancellation program.

REFUNDS

If you have made your reservation within 24hours and more than seven days before the journey, you can cancel your reservation without paying any fines.

Refunds subject to a refund fee of USD 30 within 24 hours and less than seven days prior to boarding. Refunds are issued in the form of a voucher with the fee deducted. These vouchers can not be reimbursed and must be used within one year for the purchasing of TAP tickets.

Where compensation is sought within 24 hours of completing the reservation, the fare rules will apply in place of the charge after the initial flight departure.

 

CHANGE AND CANCELLATION

The criteria for adjustments and cancellations (except for the periods mentioned above) change according to your fare terms.

The modifications and cancellations rules apply per route and can vary according to the route you choose to change. Some fares may require fees for changes or cancellations, they can't be reimbursed, or change can't be authorised.

You must read the terms of the ticket or fares that you book on the ticket purchase page when you make a reservation online before your ticket has been bought.

There are no charges when seeking reimbursement via FLYTAP. A service fee of USD 40 will be paid per fare if the claim is reimbursed by either the Call Center or a sales counter.
